Do you have Day Passes?

We offer a $10 day pass to guests of current members.  Guests still need safety/competency training to use equipment. Purchase day pass online.

Can I share my day pass package with other people?

No – day passes cannot be shared and are not transferable or refundable.

What kind of tools do you have?

We have tools for woodworking, metalworking, laser cutting, 3D printing, fiber arts, ceramics, computer lab, audio/video editing. We have a list of our equipment here.

Can I use HML’s tools without having to take a class?

Monthly and daily members have access to our tools but are required to demonstrate familiarity with equipment and a safety test before being allowed to use it unsupervised through our tool testing certification process. This is both to protect our equipment and our members.

What is safety and competency testing?

Testing is for people ready to demonstrate familiarity and safe use of our tools.  Some of our tools require both training and testing despite prior experience. See HML Staff for more information.

What materials are available for general use?

Members are expected to supply their own materials.
